Dr. Wright, DPM | Bozeman Podiatric ClinicThomas Wright enjoys taking care of patients foot and ankle needs while being very respectable and personable.

He was able to get into and be a graduate of the year Fellowship at Coachella Valley Foot and Ankle institute for “Foot and Ankle Reconstruction and Trauma with the added credential in Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques of the Foot and Ankle.” While learning and practicing that year he worked on research for advancing surgical Technics.

Prior to that he did a three year “Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with the added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery” at the Carl T. Hayden hospital in Arizona. During which he worked with dozens of surgeons all over the city performing hundreds of surgeries. With his passion for learning and teaching he personally organized weekly resident review lectures with case studies, research review, and textbook quizzes.

He did his medical training in Illinois at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. There he received the Scholl Merit Scholar Award, the Martin Stroller DPM Memorial IPMA scholarship, and the APMA George Clark Memorial scholarship. During his time there, he was a board member, president elect, and eventually President of “Health Care Project” as well as “Save a leg Save a Life” – Scholl student chapter.

He received his Bachelors in Exercise science from Brigham Young University. During which he volunteered at the ER, tutored at the low income high school, mentored an autistic 3rd grader, was a 1800CONTACTS activities comimittee volunteer, and at the YSERVE service club for the disabled.

He lived in Hong Kong China for 2 years for volunteer ecclesiastical work where he learned Cantonese.

He loves spending time with his family. They enjoy the outdoors by hiking, climbing, fishing, camping, and anything else they can get into.
